Join Cassidy Flower Co. and professional local flower farmer, Angela Morton of Meadow Stems Flower Farms, for a fun, educational workshop experience on “Seed Starting a Cut Flower Garden” on Thursday, March 27th (3/27/25) at 6:30pm. The "Seed Starting a Cut Flower Garden Workshop" will include:
- 45-60 min of in depth, interactive instruction from expert flower farmer, Angela
- 1 tray of freshly sowed seeds, a mix of vigorous and versatile cut flower varieties for your garden
- All necessary supplies (seeds, soil, trays, etc.)
- Refreshing drinks
- Fun music, beautiful atmosphere, and a great time to gather.
Additional supplies, such as heat mats and grow lights, will be available for purchase at the workshop. These items are not required or necessary for the class and process, but may be helpful for those interested.
Topics covered throughout the workshop will consist of general seed education, planting instruction, gardening education, and additional tips and tricks.
This event will take place in the Depot Building event venue located at Cassidy Station, 5176 N. Fremont Rd. Nixa, MO. This building is behind Cassidy Flower Co. and to the right, featuring two large glass garage doors on the front. Please park in the customer parking lots on the north and south sides of Cassidy Mercantile.
Cassidy Flower Co. is proud to source locally grown flowers as much as possible and purchases from large wholesalers when necessary. Angela is one of the several wonderful, local flower farmers we purchase product from throughout the year and we are excited to collaborate with her in this fun new way.
